Between May 1992 and November 1995, during the Siege of Sarajevo and in the midst of the Bosnian War the Sarajevo Tunnel was constructed by the Bosnian Army.

The origin of the town of Srebrenica 

This town was raised by the King Despot. "Srebrne", on the Bulgarian and Serbian language  means silver. Because in the hills of this city there is a silver mine, that’s how the city got its name. 

Origins of  Sarajevo

During the seventh century, Dalmatia is being settled by Slavic tribes in the immediate vicinity Ragusium (as it was then called), across the sea strait, a settlement of the Slovenian name Dubrovnik was born.

Pliva and Vrbas valley was inhabited in ancient times, however, the city of Jajce develops only in the Middle Ages (14th and 15th centuries). The founder of the city  is Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić .
